There are many legitimate paid survey sites, however so are scams. Here are some tips to help you weed out the bad and ugly ones.

1. Never pay ANYBODY to take paid surveys, including paying a database/list of paid survey companies.

3. Email harvesting site - those are the ones that claim they are paid survey sites but they are actually not. They want your email address (or other personal information) and they turn around sell them or spam you. Those sites usually are overly simplified, have no company information etc. Don't trust them.

 4. Don't believe any websites claim they have a list of 300+ paid survey sites - they have many junk sites (spam/scam) sites n their lists.

5. You can always to your own research about a survey site.

6. Finally, NEVER provide sensitive personal information to anyone, never give out your driver's license number, credit card, bank account information to anyone. There are only 1-2 survey sites require you to provide social security number to get paid.
